    • Lots projects that require freezer paper. Not a fan of this book, the only pattern I'll be making note of is the fabric cans.

    • I was really looking forward to checking out the projects in this book due to the cover. Yes, I do buy books based on the cover, don't you? However, I was just ok with this book. There were not any real projects in there that I have not seen before or even liked the way that they were presented. I would have given this two stars but I do think the directions are very easy to follow especially because of the visuals.

    • Cute items, just need some time to try them! I'm still not sure about the ribbon belts with duct tape backing. It sounded reasonable when I saw it in the book but then when I went to the store to get the materials, it didn't seem right; the duct tape would be too wide and take too much cutting. Can't seem to find shrinky dink plastic anymore either. Oh well, I have lots of other projects to complete. Might try the potholder out of felted wool. That was cute and simple looking.

    • 3.5 Nice projects, nothing spectacular or different except squeezable pillows that look like food cans (why?) and a photo baseball . Good instructions with a key that includes skills required and level of difficulty.

    • It was okay For the most part I was not impressed. I was so excited to read this book and get some new ideas about sewing. It really was just blah. Nothing exciting other than obsession over iron-ons

    • I thought this was a rather average craft books. Good ideas, but mostly things I had seen before. Lots of making "fabric" our of other things, which is getting to be trendy. Nothing really jumped out at me and said, "Wow! I want to make that!" but I did like the dishtowel slippers on page 37.

    • Adult nonfiction; crafts/low-sew. Cute ideas, but most of them rely on freezer paper- or other fancy printing/transferiing techniques. As such, this craft book isn't going to be as accessible to readers who can't or don't want to "go there."

    • There are a few projects I might try I guess the lesson I learned is that I just need to learn how to sew. Sometimes stuff looks cuter when you work harder for it.

    • This is a good book for someone that needs some creative inspiration. There are very few things in it that I would make as a gift for someone, but I'd make several for myself.

    • Rather silly book, actually. The "gifts" are obviously homemade - as opposed to handmade. I didn't see a single one I'd be thrilled to receive much less give to someone I cared about.

    • This would be a great book for a crafty teenager. I don't think I'd make anything from this book myself, but can see how it would appeal to some.

    • I enjoyed this book. Although I probably won't make any of the projects I did learn a few techniques that I can cull for other projects.

    • I liked the idea of the projects, but there weren't a whole lot I want to make. Cute ovenmitt and pot holder pattern.

    • A few good ideas, but most of them were too cutesy for my taste and a lot of them involved photo transfer of some sort.

    • Overall pretty cute. Lots of ideas for transfering patterns on fabric. Didn't have the urge to actually make anything from this.
