Greetings Readers I m Katie O Connor and I love to write and read The I read, the I write I live in a large city in Western Canada I am a wife, mother and grandmother I believe in dragons, fairies, UFOs, ghosts, and house pixies.I have dabbled in writing since just after high school There is some part of me that drives me to create stories and write them down It is impossible for me NOT to write I think my head would explode if I kept all those ideas trapped inside I even dream story lines I have thought about keeping a notebook beside my bed so I can start writing the ideas down But then again, maybe not because some of those dreams seem like fabulous stories while I am dreaming, but are a little suspect on closer examination under daylight.I ve tried my hand at writing poetry, science fiction, adventures and romance novels But my passion is, and always has been erotica I just had to dig deep and give myself permission to write it My parents know what I do, but I have told my mother that she will never ever ever read my erotica Can you just imagine I would die.I married my high school sweetheart and I am living my happily ever after My husband tells me that I have a devious, sexual mind, and I have to admit that I like sex, a lot Shh, don t tell my kids, or my mother Here s hoping you enjoy my stories and that they jazz up your sex life because we all deserve to have a fabulous one Hugs,Katie

    • How much is one woman supposed to deal with? That is where Natalie makes the decision to not take anymore and leaves. Enter Clint, he is the knight in shining armor that Natalie has been looking for. I enjoyed reading Running Home, the development of the characters (and supporting characters) was very well done. I’m looking forward to reading more from the author.

    • I really enjoyed this book. it's different from most that I've read in the sense that it more about the woman surviving than it is about the romance. most books I read more focus on the romance side, if know what I mean. I really enjoyed how strong the woman became throughout the book. sure she remained cautious but you could tell she was coming out of her shell. I definitely recommend reading this book.

    • Loved Grace and Mark’s story. I very much enjoyed this book and the characters and story had me interested from the start. I could not put the book down read it all in one day and fell even more in love with Haven. It was an easy read with enjoyable and humorous dialogue and characters that you felt at home with. Loved the authors style of writing. I sure hope Lisa or Nick gets a story!!!

    • I was excited to be given the opportunity to read this book for review. The beginning was already thrilling, with Natalie making her escape from her abusive husband. Running Home was well-written and the story pulled me in deeply right from the start. I found myself looking over my shoulder along with Natalie, wondering if/when Stanley would locate her. Clint's kindness and how he interacted with Matthew was very heartwarming. The characters were very rich and endearing in this story and I found [...]

    • The author hooked me at six percent at the point in the novel where the heroine flees from an abusive situation. The story plotting was believable and the developing love story nicely thought out. I read Running Home while traveling and would recommend it to those that would enjoy a feel-good happy ending. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

    • What a wonderful start the Heart's Haven series by Katie O'Connor. Some of the subject matter (domestic abuse) may be difficult for some BUT Katie deals with it all in a very open, frank and loving way. What comes across in this story is the strength it takes to finally take your life back but that life is all about surrounding yourself with people who care about you and love you. Natalie found all this very unexpectedly and having never been shown this, had a hard time accepting it. Watching he [...]

    • I really liked this book, though I wouldn't call it compelling. The characters are well developed and easy to like, except for Natalie, who was rather up and down and at times, drove me crazy. That said, she is scared and secretive, and finds trust difficult - understandable considering her background.Though I feel more could have been made of the abuse, there was enough to explain Natalie's behaviour. There is some lovely banter which made me smile and though the storyline is quite simple (not a [...]

    • Well written story with nice storyline and plot. Characters are likeable and well described. They develop nicely through the book. A story about taking chances, have trust in others and to handle your past so you can have your HEA.I like that the author has taken the theme of abuse and written an enjoyable story about it. But I would have like a bit more depth to the theme.A story with heartbreak, abuse, emotions, passion, twists and laughs.I can only recommend it to others.
