    • I judge poetry on it's ability to make me cry, smile or laugh. In this regard, Perie Longo's collection does very well. My favorite sad one is probably "Fishing with My Father;" totally awesome sad poem. And my favorite funny poems were the ones about being a grandma like "Yaya whose skin walks slow,"An eclectic mix of poetry. Alive, clever, creative. I recommend it.

    • I enjoyed this book by a wonderful poet, teacher and friend: Perie Longo, ex-Poet Laureate for the city of Santa Barbara.
